You can also join the cross-government Slack channel #prodmgt to meet product managers across government. There are useful links pinned in the channel, including learning lists and a buddy scheme you can sign up to.

Get profession email updates

Our Head of Profession sends a regular email with updates on the community, recruitment and work that the Heads of Profession are doing. Email debbie.blanchard@education.gov.uk to be added to the distribution list.

Product meetups

Our community meets online every Thursday from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. To get the invite, email our Head of Product at debbie.blanchard@education.gov.uk.

We have different types of meetups including:

  • show and tells - where DfE product managers share what they're currently working on
  • guest speakers - who may be from outside of DfE or a member of a different profession
  • action learning - where we work on something together as a community
  • content conclave - where as a group we discuss our thoughts on a piece of content about product management
  • joint sessions - where we join up with other profession communities
